Search and Social Specialist - Fish Marketing

Responsible for planning, execution and management of Search, Display and Social Media marketing campaigns to meet our clients' business objectives. Manage existing accounts in addition to planning, budgeting and launching new clients' campaigns. Creating reports, conducting analysis and assisting with A/B tests for company initiatives.

Social Media and Community Manager - Machinima

Led a team in managing 21 different social media accounts, a total of over 7 million worldwide followers, for a major video game brand. Developed campaigns to market AAA video game releases, Hollywood films, and other multimedia for sales clients. Analyzed reporting and created strategies to grow properties on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube. Championed projects to improve our content reach and the depth of interaction with fans. Closely integrated with our in-house Marketing team to develop promotional efforts for the entire company.

Director of Publicity - Oni Press

Worked directly with critically acclaimed comic book creators and press outlets across a wide range of content, securing reviews, features and interviews for our creators. Promoted the vast Oni Press library including comics such as The Sixth Gun, Letter 44, The Bunker, and Stumptown, original graphic novels like Scott Pilgrim, the Crogan Adventures, Meteor Men and MegaGogo, award-winning young readers titles such as Mermin and Bad Machinery, licensed comics like Adult Swim’s Rick & Morty and more. Raised awareness of the Oni Press brand itself to the comic industry, book industry, libraries and the mainstream press.

Digital Marketing Manager - Nia Technique

Director of strategy for all company social media and digital advertising. Managed a team of three direct reports, advised 900 franchise owners on best practices and crafting copy for growing their customer base. Created SEM strategy, implemented advertising and site-wide SEO best practices. Led growth of our brands across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest while identifying KPIs and proving effectiveness of social media campaigns through analytics and reporting. Responsible for weekly and daily company newsletters, PR outreach, instructional seminars with our franchise owners, WordPress homepage design and updates, graphic design and video editing.

TEFL Certified English Teacher - JET Programme, ECC, GEOS

Designed and taught high school level English classes for students in Japan. Worked with Japanese staff in creating lesson plans to address curriculum goals and build towards both testing proficiency and real world readiness. Planned and participated in cultural exchange activities to foster a love of languages and travel in students.
